L.A.C.A. Members

I would like to take a few lines here first to apologize to Virginia Lee for my mistake, I went back to the minutes to when she was voted in by the Board to replace Dr. Dale, which made that term up. If I had went to the next meeting I would have seen that she was elected in last year, which would have made her current and not needing to be reelected. Also I hope All L.A.C.A. board members and members will understand that it was my mistake and mine only. I have also spoken to Hilton the other day and mentioned that we could have a Board Meeting in the near future and change the by laws to add at least one new board member, if that does not work I will be willing to step down, so she can remain on the board. Virginia has been dedicated to the organization and I feel that it is very important that we do what is right for her. Again please accept my apology for my mistake. Also I would like to remind all members that next year there will be 4 positions up for election. So please if you desire to run for a position make sure you are qualified to do so. Please check the by-laws.

The Board members will be having their annual meeting on the 18th of Feb. 2009. We are looking forward to having an exciting year this year. We ask each and every one of you to attend L.A.C.A. this year, remember if you do not attend, you must pay your annual dues to remain a member of L.A.C.A. Also there will be voting this year for several Board Member positions. Lets make this a record setting year for our memberships, encourage your friends from other agencies to attend this years L.A.C.A. Help us get the word out.
